Prior to her role at EuroCCP which began in 2007, Chan was Citi’s head of Market Strategy and Market Policy in Securities and Fund Services. She is an active member of public sector advisory groups focused on improving post-trade arrangements in Europe.
Most recently, she has been appointed to the ESMA Post-Trade Standing Committee’s Consultative Working Group. Chan is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong and Harvard Business School.
Cressy joined EuroCCP in 2007 and is responsible for European Clearing & Settlement and Exchange Relationship Management. Previously he was at Merrill Lynch, where he worked extensively in equities and equity derivatives, managing a range of functions including client services & middle office. Throughout this time he was actively involved in projects and initiatives focused on direct exchange membership across Europe.
Cressy is a graduate from the University of Exeter.
Prior to joining EuroCCP in 2008, Lenoir was deputy Head of Change Management for Equities Finance at Deutsche Bank London. He also has 10 years’ experience acquired with the Management consultancy firm Accenture where he was responsible for delivering a wide range of strategic change programmes/projects for Investment Banks and Market Infrastructures.
At EuroCCP, Lenoir heads the Product and Change Management teams. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs en Génie Electrique in France and he holds an MBA from the Sorbonne University.
Simpson joined EuroCCP in 2009 from SWX Europe, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. At EuroCCP, Simpson leads the teams in relationship management and marketing.
He holds a degree in Structural Engineering and Architecture from the University of Manchester.
Prior to joining EuroCCP, Singh was a London-based Partner and Head of Credit and Risk at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he worked for more than 11 years. During his time at this firm, his responsibilities included all Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC Partners entities in Europe and Asia, covering the fixed income, equities, derivatives and spread-betting businesses.
At EuroCCP, Singh heads the Risk Management team. He represents EuroCCP on the Executive Committee of EACH, the European Association of CCP Clearing Houses. He graduated in Economics from the University of Hull, he is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and a Member of Corporate Treasurers (MCT).
Karl Spielmann was named Vice President, Legal & Compliance in June 2009. Prior to joining EuroCCP Spielmann was European Compliance Director at US Life Insurer, Genworth Financial. He has over 20 years experience as general counsel and in house solicitor for a number of US and UK based companies in the insurance, secured lending, IT software/services and business information industries. Spielmann represents EuroCCP on the executive committee of CCP12.
Previous roles include Assistant Company Solicitor for subsidiary of Abbey National, General Counsel for Dun & Bradstreet Europe, European General Counsel for Entrust Limited, Legal and Compliance Director for secured lending subsidiary of Goldman Sachs and European Compliance Director for Genworth Financial. He has also held a senior consultant role at an IT Outsourcing Consultancy working on large outsourcing projects.
